I agree Hiddenvalue, so on that basis, they're only offering just over 1 multiples. What a joke!
I also agree that the best outcome for shareholders is an increased offer not a special dividend. The devious side of me says that if a dividend was declared after Cosette has acquired a significant number of shares, say 50%, then 50% of the dividend is paid to them anyway, so the cost to fund this would be halved. Another good reason to stay invested.
