Hi Georgeaux ...
< ...taking it down to the wire as far as the DAQ listing goes.. >
No. It is no longer a concern, in reality. Looksmart have advised that: (page 5 Preliminary Proxy Statement)
" If we cannot demonstrate compliance with the minimum bid price rule by October 12, 2005, the Nasdaq staff will provide written notification that our common stock will be delisted, and at that time we may appeal the staff's determination to a Listing Qualifications Panel".
LOOK will appeal immediately !! - A formality!!!!
They remain Listed while an appeal is being heard. They will simply advise the Nasdaq of the "reverse stock split" and the $61M they have in the Bank!! - Let alone info on the THREE Tier One Portals they have "deals" with!!
Things are really looking great!! - Lookinsmart2002 just posted this on Yahoo.
