    As I understand it mines can be out into mothballs. I know someone who was a caretaker of a mine site and it was activated once the comodity price reached a certain level.

    They would need to demonstrate environmental management continued, probably put a caretaker on site and pay the rates etc. Have a guess $300k per year?

    Better than going into liquidation

    Maybe today we will get some news
