I read Guy's article today as well, he writes a good article with some humour thrown in for good measure.

In regards to the risk of the US banning bitcoin....I don't agree. They tried to ban it in China...the price went up, they tried to ban it in India....the price went up. The first thing US citizens would do if it was banned....start using a VPN. It simply wont work to ban it, and why would the country that has lead innovation in the tech centre, sit on the sidelines of the greatest development in tech and finance since the printing press!

There are also now US senators that are bitcoin holders and advocates. Saylor, Musk, they won't sit idly by while the government tries to ban it.

That's just my thoughts and I could be wrong, but I have done hours and hours looking at every reason that could go wrong for bitcoin, blockchain and crypto in general.. I think it's more likely governments start to buy crypto/bitcoin instead of banning it.
