    The three bidders by the Togolese government for the exploitation and processing of carbonated phosphate deposit Kpémé, south-east of the country, will present their offers from 2 May in Rome.
    Representatives of the Australian company Balamara Resources, Indian Getax and Elenilto, a subsidiary of Israeli society Engelinvest operator will succeed before the Togolese government represented by the Minister of Mines and Energy, Dammipi Noukopou. They come each defend their tender for the exploitation and processing of carbonated phosphate deposit Kpémé, southeast of the country. The meeting will be held at the offices of Bird & Bird, which oversees the project on behalf of the Togolese authorities from 2 May in Rome.
    Production in 2014
    The project involves the use of more than two billion tonnes of ore. The total investment is about two to three billion dollars, depending on the need to build or not a specialized port. The Togolese authorities' decision is expected before the end of this year for a first production expected by February 2014.
