    1 Indonesian Mn mining under scrutinyby alanpatrickryan
    Gulf Manganese’s plan to source manganese ore for its Indonesian smelter project may run into difficulties. The local governor wants all the mines closed for inspection and wants to declare a moratorium on all new mining projects. The government wants to focus on tourism not mining.
