certainly board will turn down a bid - just hope there is one coming to form a base and then hopefully the market will think aspen might go higher.
lazard have been busy continuing asset sales and also advsing on aspen bid.
not too worried about media - all par for the course.
sigma has great assets - surely a few groups are interested. i suppose worse case scenario we have short term volatility but average cost bases for all the institutional holders is higher than 50 cents, so new management will need to drive the business hard.
as someone mentioned assets like these are looked at for the long term.
