I thought a growth stock was stock in a company whose earnings are expected to grow at an above-average rate compared to the rest of the market, not a stock that's price is increasing.
Telstra's Dividend has been 28 cents for the past 5 years or so, so you would be hard pressed to call it a growth stock.
