I think we've discussed this before, but in my opinion Israel never displaced anyone. There never was a Palestinian nation to displace. The arab inhabitants living there and who now call themselves Palestinians were from Jordan, Syria and Egypt and there was a sizeable Jewish population at the time as well.

In any event, the refugees who left Israel during the War of Independence thought Israel would lose and they could return afterwards to their homes. Unfortunately things never turned out that way....and now the Arab countries where they live treat them as refugees and have never attempted to absorb them.

I don't think you have to worry about Israel orchestrating a nuclear holocaust any more than you'd worry about America, the United Kingdom, France China or Russia orchestrating one. But if Israel faces an existential threat from its neighbours (eg. Iran) and it has no choice, then yes, Israel will probably use the Nuclear bomb.
