Heres a left field thought, in the majority of cases the most simple answer is the correct one.
I have no idea how the set up at siyi works but say they have only one guy who calls the shots and really knows whats going on. Maybe two if you include the prof we just employed. Its not hard to belive as it would be a big company yet.
What if the membranes arrived to be assembled at the plant and who wong ling the mail boy accidently sent them back.
Meanwhile the ceo and his 2ic are on holidays after the chinese new year.
No one here or our rep in china can track them down or know where they are to find out why the membranes were returned, There not worried as they are on holiday and think everything is going ok and the MPS havent thought about it yet as hey we can use 5000 units in a day so no rush.
No im not being serious its just an idea for a script for a comedy movie.
