I think the NTU plan near Alice Springs about 60km out is about Phosphate rather than uranium.
Less emotive power than Uranium but some food for thought. The PDN issue was essentially its mining close to AS and the local backlash..(votes).The NT Govt just didnt want to talk about it.
Message to companies ..think ahead and try to place oneself in the someone elses shoes,in this situation ,the NT Govts.
