You think it is mostly working age people making the move? I kinda assumed it was retirees who had considered the move but never done it, but Covid came along and gave them a very good reason to get out of the cities.
If it is workers. I wonder what is going to happen when covid passes. The word I am hearing from my network, including top level management and Recruitment agencies is that the norm will be somewhere between 2-4 days in the office. None are anticipating 5 days from home. This may prove problematic for those moving to the regional areas?
