What I am seeing is there are many jobs that can be done remotely which has been proven over this covid period. Also production has remained high. Companies now realise the savings in not leasing massive floor space with large overheads. A big rethink is going on . Perhaps the worst investment would be office space in city centers. I think they are going to struggle!
