This time last year it was a good idea to sell VLW before the dividend and buy back a few weeks later. I scored my holding back about 40c cheaper. This year might be a different story though. This time VLW is already cheaper, we have a nice profit increase forecast, we've had recent director buying and we could be due for a good bounce post China meltdown. I'll hold this year. Time will tell if the strategy works.
