Here is a video from Charles Nenner research about when the bottom of the POG may be reached, and where it might be in 12-18 months time.
Nenner was bearish on gold and goldies when I heard him interviewed last year and told his clients to get out of gold near the top in 2011. While he has recently been right about gold and goldies, he has not always been right about when the US market is likely to reach a top (I suppose all that QEing did have an effect and he could not predict this). Nenner used to work at Goldman Sachs for many years using his cycles analysis.
