if you call entering a region by acquisition of micro players, a truly global fintech, then by all means, call them a global player, but from my understanding, a truly global player would be being represented in almost all countries, not just more countries than others
the zip numbers are minuscule for a fintech, compared to peers and compared to global financial institutions
there’s a reason Afterpay, affirm and Klarna haven’t gone and bought micro fintechs in random countries, you’re aware of that right?
