My work colleague died suddenly from Covid yesterday. Fit, healthy and happy man aged 39. Everyone is just shell shocked.
This has really put everything into perspective. I couldn’t give a rats about Zip, money, wealth etc anymore. Today I hugged my parents, my wife, my brother and all my loved ones. That’s all that matters.
I’ll continue to provide for my family and make money to enjoy life, because we have to, but I couldn’t care less about keeping up with the Jones’ and being rich and wealthy. What’s the point.
My friend is gone like that. Same can happen to any of us and we can’t take it with us.
Tell your loved ones you love them, because when it hits close to home, you really see what it’s all about. What matters and what is simply pointless and irrelevant.
