Today I had a murder of crows feeding just outside the back door.
And not your everyday scrawny crows. These were the fattest, blackest, most menacing crows I've ever seen.

They are obviously the descendents of the crow family which has lived at various places along our road for at least the last 35 years and which I saw every day on my exercise walk.
But I've never seen them this far away from the road. Maybe they've come looking for me because I don't exercise anymore.
Or maybe they bear a message
