    I agree with your sentiment, although some things still don't add up for me.

    1. Why issue a denial/press release and have Reuters retract the share consolidation statement so quickly if you were going to fold up? Why waste the energy? And furthermore, that kind of consolidation could only hurt the share price/forthcoming announcement (if there is one coming) and piss off a lot of shareholders.

    2. If the FAS board knew/knows that it was/is all a "no-go", why bother with the Trading Halt and follow-up Voluntary Suspension?

    Both seem like actions taken by a company that genuinely believes it will be around for some time to come (regardless of the current funding prospects).

    Acknowledge that it all could be just a stunt to save some face, but again, seems like an awful lot of effort if the end result is already determined.

    Just my 2 cents.
