Earlier in 2015 Sipa attended a number of schools in the Akelikongo region where it commenced the roll out of its Days for Girls program. The program aims to keep girls in school post puberty which is the time when school participation by girls normally drops drastically.
Sipa has also assisted in the training and commencement of new local businesses in the form or affordable liquid soap making, in addition donated desks to a local school in Palabek, stationary supplies, sporting equipment and books to other schools in the Lamwo district. Sipa also patronises of many local businesses around Kitgum.
This is really lovely you do all this with share holders money. It's really nice you have private meetings with selected holders , ignore calls from others to attend. It's also really lovely that you do a credit raising to drill thaduna to find the 'primary source ( or sources ) ' and come out with an ANN saying. ' we have achieved our objectives .... Which was crap. Your adjective was to find the source. Instead you ignored suggestions where to drill. Sold thaduna for a pittance after 20 plus million was spent exploring it with so many empty promises. Not only that , no share holder was warned previous that this was even a consideration. Apart from the select few at the meetings who were told ' we won't be going broke drilling Thaduna '. This is all not warm and fuzzy for a company who has kept a large and overstocked board .. Underperformed and under delivered.
How bout doing something warm and fuzzy for the shareholders and drill some god damn holes where you have reasonable targets. Instead of delaying using funds in case it needs to last you another 12 months. Go do what we invested in you for. Not building a local community. But exploring and finding an asset of value.
