Yes the oil industry won't totally disappear, as for its lubricants and hydraulics, but as a fuel it's very limited.

As in the country areas, a lot have power and solar, so once proven on the cars, it won't be long til a lot of vehicles will have them, including agriculture machinery. Power is a lot easier to get out in the country, as its on the property and fuel organised through tanks and trucks deliver, which is costly. Then add in lower maintence and less parts, bigger warranties, better for the environment, no down time waiting for parts and deliveries, to na,e a few benefits. In construction it wasn't that long ago everything was run off power cords for the power of the tool, now majority of tools are cordless. Cranes and concrete pumps or other trucks or forks, it won't be long as there already is battery powered forks, and all these are land based vehicles. Concrete compactors, is pretty much a lawn mower engine, which there is battery lawn mowers, these are just a few thing obviously.
May take longer for air and sea transport but don't discount it, they are still motorised vehicles.
