look, i think it's a good deal and long overdue. however, despite this being a merger of equals, ZFX is essentially the more valuable of the two in today's terms and will be bringing to the table substantial cash and the majority of earnings. Not to have a dig at OXR, i just think ZFX shareholders should be given something more. That being said, the combined entity is going to be aprime target for Anglo American and/or Xstrata (with or without Vale) so this should be an interesting baby to watch going forward!
