You have clearly been talking to my wife.... she never knows what I am trying to say either... maybe try this: "Because the rewards from investing in explorers/developers are so high and the risks considerable, it is sensible to invest in several and not just one or two, knowing the successes will more than outweigh the failures and that takes all the stress/frustration out of watching potential dogs like BDC recognising even its potential dogginess is never actually certain."

I am not suggesting its the most profound thing ever said, but it does keep me from getting grumpy - which the wife also has an opinion on.
