I think you're spot on. Intermoco have just bought a company that accounted for approx. half of Smorgon's 01/02 profit. Intermoco's AMR technology links perfectly with electronic meters which will be like mobile phones in deregulated energy markets.
Add to that, Email Metering has a fully operational low-cost factory in China [refer: http://www.dfat.gov.au/publications/catalogue/china/Email_Metering_Sydney_2_12_02.pdf]...I just can't see the Intermoco/Email Metering deal going backwards.
