If you want to have a better understanding of the middle east market, interesting long article about UAE this week in The Economist.
They indicate, in particular that (non oil) Q2 23 GDP growth was over 5 % in Saudi Arabia and over 7 % in the UAE.
They also show that their economy is not only about oil. UAE was one of the first in the gulf to diversify. And Saudi Arabia seems keen to follow the model of the UAE.
The number of new businesses in Dubai increased by 40 % during H1 23 vs 2022.
