geee that made me feel so old!!..:-)...we had our milk warmed up at school winter time and everyone had to line up to get the little (250ml bottle with silver paper on top?) before classes..:-) I hated warmed up milk - always asked the cook to leave one cold for me..:-)...and when we truly had those winds blowing from Siberia and the tempreatures dropped well below 0 (Polish born here) our care taker would spray the school soccer/hand ball field with water and next few days our PE was ice skating..:-)...everyone had skates but kids who didn't got them from school..:-) no excuses there for not doing sport!....and if you wonder i was not in rural area...:-) big industrial city..:-)) and school lunch? 3 meals! all year round: hot soup, second substantial dish with vegies and desert...
kids from poor families were on the list and were fed free.....i miss the socialist system sometimes.
.:-))) ...ooo and we had dental room at school..that nurse coming in to call us for treatments was the scariest person in that school!! and NEVER during math...hahaha...always would find us at our art or music classes...:-)))...dental bills??..what bills?.....
