surely it was obvious many years ago that MST was doomed?..... investing in any form of new technology usually ends up a failure - not that the ideas aren't good, but market forces and current investment almost guarantees failure.....
some bright spark once said words to the effect "if a man builds a better mousetrap the world will beat a path to his door" - that's 180 degrees wrong, nothing could be further from the truth.....
if you've got billions invested in any form of current technology and some hairbrain comes to you and says "look I've got a much better widget than yours...." the only thing you want to do is bury the bastard - and that's why new stuff never gets off the block.....
there's a small exception - if you have something which is totally new and doesn't challenge any form of current technology then it stands a chance - otherwise it's over before it even starts.....
