I think SBM is holding up rather well given gold has lost $150 over the past few weeks.
Could be further short term pain for gold so wouldnt be suprised to see SBM slip a little further. Seems like the banks and financials are the flavour of the day for now, so not suprised in the dumping of gold. At some point, investors will realise gold is a bargain again at $800 or $850...and buyers will come back in.
Nice to see one of the directors buy some more (albeit small package of shares).
