Hey HT, not wishing to pick a fight because I really respect your posts, but concerning the statement which I note is a quote

"We need to correct some reporting here. BHP's expansion of OD is forecast to consume 10% (not 50%) of SA base load power. Quoting from The Australian, May 1, written by Jamie Walker"

The Advertiser May 2 says that BHP's current operations currently consumes 10% of SA's baseload. The expansion will require an additional 650MW almost half the states demand.

It was restated today as well

So one of the papers is wrong. In any event it is big, and like you I am quite happy to see BHP stay away from PH.
