Most investors ("speculators") would be up the river without a paddle at the moment I would say. Good luck trying to figure it out for that class of investors.
People and markets can be cruel but I would like to express the following, especially with regards to TAS :
1. If you try to express an informed view you are called a ramper.
2. If you try to influence the views of others you are called a manipulator.
3. If you buy strictly on upward momentum you are called a speculator.
4. If you sell on downward momentum due to those referred to in item 2 above and because you know no better, then you probably have been taken for a ride.
Price movement in either direction, up or down, when there is genuinely no news available, is almost always the work of manipulators.
Just my thought for the day.
