DENIAL ORDER OF SCHUEPBACH ENERGY TO SHIP RESIDUES TO THE LANDFILL
At the request of the company Schuepbach Energy Uruguay, to the Intendencia de Salto, for the acceptance of the waste generated in the exploration activity in search of hydrocarbons in the department, we have resolved not to grant this permit as it considers it not convenient to deposit waste that may involve risks to the landfill and the population of Salto in general.
The decision is not to grant authorization to receive the waste from the exploration of hydrocarbons in the municipal landfill, or in any other municipal dependency, without prejudice.
The waste consists of split rock from the drilling that was not in contact with hydrocarbons, drilling mud effluent from sludge pool washing that was not in contact with hydrocarbons, washing effluents from cement mix tank with previous adjustment of pH and waste similar to urban waste.
