Yes, irrelevent. The bids will disappear when it gets close to reopening.
In the order of what I reckon the company is up to:
1. Will anounce a placement or
2. Is just grandstanding and will waffle on about its
project but will not add much to our knowledge.
3. Least likely: Will anounce further results
