It was only 20 years ago that we got a fence and gate put around the local tip.
It’s still possible to load a few things back onto the ute, depending on who’s working on the day but for some reason the powers that be shutdown the Tip Shope sideline after the first 10 years.

My favourite Communal Refuse Centre joke.
As a young man in a small town I picked up a very nice German Backpacker girl at the local tavern. I used the old favourite “line” to get her away from all the other blokes hitting on her by offering to take her for a drive to see the interesting local sites.
After a brief tour she grabbed my arm and said “I want you to kiss me where it stinks”!
