@Sweetsound - I have a 'casual' gardener, retired professional, now does a bit of gardening for 'his ladies' gives all the money he earns from gardening to a school in Africa - and also brings all his clients a pot of narcissus plants in late July - it's such a nice touch!
yeah; snowbells - in Europe - are the advance guardannouncing: 'spring is round the corner' - later there are the little Maybells which are very fragrant, along with the violets. Different in Australia, but beautiful plants out in the bush already and getting better.
