Four square walls, and once there were four rooms and a roof.
Now it’s a ruin, remote from civilisation to come upon, and wonder at the conditions in which people in the  ‘old days’.

A few years back I visited this lonely old house and found a woman and her husband were also ‘in residence’.
She explained her maiden name was Mitchell and her granddad, Andrew,  had lived here as a child.
