I'm 30mins South of Perth when the idiots are off the Freeway LOL, and as the crow flies, I'm 2ks on the Eastern side of the Freeway on 65ac.
The Moon obviously comes up to our East, now I'll only cover one aspect of many things, that are up against the sides of the moon, L/R, top and bottom, various colours etc, but all those things aside, which are all time sightings, the following.
My East boundary where the House is, probably only 40mts from the house to the boundary, with pretty big blue gums. Standing at my house, when the moon's bottom is level with the top of the trees. Out from the moon, at least 4 - 5 times the moon size in distance away from the moon, a full circle like rainbow but blue, around the Moon. BUT, when the moon as I said, the bottom at the top of the trees, the blue lower section ends up on my side the trees, the density blocks any light being seen between the leaves, or through them out to the distance.
So from my side, the diameter of the blue circle would be around 6mt, the moon 1mt. The width of the blue, at least 500mm when low, on my side the trees. But naturally when it's all higher, the circle covers a bigger area, and is miles away.
Lo-Behold, last night, I was at the other side of the House, on the fake lawn just off the Big Alfresco and the moon was just coming over the ridgeline of the house, as in rising. The lower blue rainbow like circle was on my roof, right in front of me.
No pics, I expect would show it, others or my wife can't see it, and pretty much says, I have eye issues, and that's the kinder comments = BS lol. Sometimes, inside the blue rainbow, there is another smaller one, but the full circle rainbow which fades out to light yellow, until it reaches the moon.
It's = to someone saying, you're not seeing the sun come up in the mooning, it's just your eyes playing tricks, or you have a condition LOL. If it was a one or two times, seeing such, perhaps something could explain it, but it's all the time and has been for a few years, but it does appear to be developing somewhat, as time passes, as in more things being seen, hugging the moon.
