I was greatly helped long ago by Haspete a now long gone HC poster
with my photo skills and ideas
and this is where I am coming from
a food photo
try to take it, not from directly above, as it looks flat and boring
shoot from an angle and this gives the photo depth
as the viewer can now see into the food subject, the height etc
landscape things
don't shoot from your eye level
its boring
now try and even place the camera on or near the ground or water level
now you have given your photo a dimension....
try it and you will be amazed at the difference
