For the last few months the price has been manipulated so that on the last friday of the month maximum pain is handed out to the futures market. Although in the vast majority of cases the future market does not use the underlying asset (it is essentially a bet on the price at a certain time) they have still been able to move the price . Is it possible , and I have no evidence, that those manipulating the price are doing what is common in the share market and borrowing the coin from exchanges to force the price .That is why it would be unwise to use a sharebroker that does that to your shares and it is equally unwise to keep your coin on an exchange
