we have 5 rate rises tipped between now and Feb ... I think we are the only nation paying A half decent amount of interest coupled with an economy backed by China & Japan ,,, international money just flooding into the aussie dollar...

I think, this trend might have minor consolidations, but absent of a GFC2, we'll shave that distance between pariry pretty darn quickly. And US have to polish their books for the mid term elections this Nov... so looks like GFC2 will be tamed at ALL cost.
