just realised this needs a new thread.......


Just returned from the EGM

All resolutions passed, primarily based on proxy votes which were all north of 95% in favour.

Some of the questions;

1. will the board consider affording priority to existing shareholders in any future spp’s so that they receive a full entitlement (rather than the 75% we got this time) – carter said he would take this on board
2. what effect will the issuance of the current shares/options have on the SP. Carter stated that he was not able to comment on SP movements in accordance with ASX listing rules however did go on to say that the market has known about the cap raising and options for some time and that the market full expected all resolutions to be passed, as they were today, and therefore this had been priced into the current sp. Shortall was on video link from the US and for a while had no audio so when asked about his view on the future SP movement I gave it a thumbs up. He will be at the AGM on 30 Nov at the boardroom in the Westin in Sydney.

Anyone got a match, I need to light a candle!
