Would have expected an announcement today however probably not the best of days to release good news, what with the gold price off and otherwise down day. Hopefully the US rescue package will pass through the house of reps tonight and the US market will bounce back setting the scene for a positive start to next week and better time for news.
But then again the US market is very unpredictable at present and anything could happen. Rescue package should be good for the market but no rescue package should be good for gold and so a sort of win win situation for ALD.
