I think it's the other way around ... rises before,on relatively small volume was largely day traders ... this one, with the kin d of volume we've seen, is institutions finally feeling confident that BBI has a future, and deciding to take small (for them) early positions on something that could give them a massive profit on the medium term.
And considering most of them have been skeptical of this market rally all the way up, sitting on the sidelines, I think they're waking up to the reality that this will not be a W shape market recovery, but a V shape, and here is a perfect opportunity to climb on board something that is still at its bottom and bring a huge profit to make up for the ones they've missed out on.
After all, when their boards meet, the fund managers are going to have to explain why, in an apparently roaring bull market, they sat on their hands for the most important move up.
