They only need to announce the deal rather than close to get the VWAP up. I suspect BBI have a reasonable degree of power with regard to sale process timing. Their are multiple bidders, so it would have to be a conspiracy between bidders to delay the announcement of a winning bid. Delay of settlement is another matter as we all know.
