4bean, perhaps management have just run out of ideas about how to get the SP up. This is a tech company not a financial institution, perhaps this is something they are struggling with themselves. I agree though - I fully expected the SP to be $1 at the end of 2010, now I don't think it will be that at the end of 2011!
