I think this rumour - which could turn out to be a load of bollocks - is probably their new diamond tenements near Sussusvlei, up the guts of the Tsaucheb River.

And by diamond traces, they probably mean kimberlitic indicator minerals from loam samples taken of the top of a couple of odd blobby mangetic anomalies.

However, some sobering statistics; there are over 12,000 kimberlite occurrences worldwide. Around 14% have diamonds in them. A mere 1% or so have been economically mined, and the number in operation: 0.1%.

That is a fairly stiff headwind to run up against, and I say good luck to the directors chugging the bubbly, hopefully bought with their own money and not the long suffering shareholders' hard earned casholas, for finding what is most likely an indicator mineral for a diamondiferous kimberlite but not an economic kimberlite.

Risky business best done on champas fumes!
