An extreme analogy is a poor starving hungry guy with a gold bar in hand faced with a street peddler with a loaf of bread to sell. One gold bar for one loaf, fair trader my friend?
We are all like people on the streets, to various degrees. And there are people in high places who's got mountains of cash, assessing the lanscape looking for real value/deals.
