Pinto - I must admit that I didn't think anyone else other than Stone would be stupid enough to be buying CRE so I've done the calculatons.
Between Stones two announcements 22.7 million shares were traded. Stone has announced that they bought 19.7 mil, so you are right 3 Mil were bought be some others.
All losers in my opinion however I must admit that they might have some great strategy that I'm not aware of. So time will tell.
