Hi Danube, nice work - your estimate there is pretty close, they gave a very thorough analysis in the environmental impact statement - from section 5 of the transport logistics section: Its on their website under environment.


h The annual transportation cost from the mine to the Port only is estimated to be $74.3 to
$64.49 per tonne for 1 Mtpa and 3 Mpta correspondingly. The anaylised capital expenditure
portion is within the range of 14 % to 25 %.

Plus capital expenditure relating to transport - it is always going to be the main cost of this project. Plus mine op's, royalties etc and you get our best guess around 120/T which is about US110/T for breakeven and the level RP was at when AD mentioned we were slightly profitable. I think $A150/t will be the level required to get a comfortable margin before starting this behemoth up tho.
