As you can see below from an earlier announcement they have had proven connection already.
All is good and I bet those who exercised their options are smiling.
Now I wait patiently for my TEY options to take off, a long wait maybe but I have till 2010.

Habanero 3 Drilling Progress
..... In addition to reaching TD the
target fracture zone was intersected at 4,180 m (13,716 ft).
The intersection of the target fracture zone was confirmed through pressure
excursions in monitoring devices in both Habanero 1 and Habanero 3. These
excursions confirmed the existence of a hydraulic connection between the two wells.
