"BRIERTY RECEIVES NOTICE OF INTENT FOR FURTHER WORKS AT FMG PORT"
"Civil contractor Brierty Limited is pleased to announce that a letter of intent has been signed with Fortescue Metals Group Limited for further major earthworks at its port development at Port Hedland in the Pilbara region of Western Australia".
"The work will commence in October 2008 and is expected to be finalised this month".
"The major earthworks project represents a continuation of Brierty's relationship with Fortescue, with the Company already undertaking major earthworks on the FMG Rail project".
"This is further evidence of our ability to deliver quality work, certainty and value for our clients," he (Dalton Gooding) said.
"Mr Gooding said the latest Fortescue contract once signed would lift Brierty's contracted revenue for the 2009 financial year to more than 190 million".
